The Joseph Dixon Tool Company Limited has been providing cutting tooling and cutting solutions to industry for over 165 years.

Joseph Dixon Tool Co Limited is a family owned and run business, manufacturing. Manufacturing Press Knives and Saddlers tools since 1843 and over the years extended the range to include. Cutting Formes, Rotary Formes, Strip Knives, Forge Knives, Saddlers tools, Leather Craft Tools, Cutting pads, Label Dies, Stripping tools, Printing Plates, Embossing Dies, High Frequency Welding Tools, Guillotine knives, punch and Pierce Tools, Die Sets Ram Punches 
 

The company first served the leather trade, which is nested in the Walsall area. With the growth of industry came mass production which required machines to perform the cutting operations. This opened up new opportunities to design and manufacture tooling for the new machines.

Investment was undertaken and heavy-duty solid cutters, forge knives and strip knives were produced. These were used by the clothing and shoe trades.

The motor car industry and associated engineering trades along with the white goods, grey goods and electrical industries gave rise to an ever growing gasket cutting trade. In order to service this new demand the company introduced cutting formes into its product range.

Joseph Dixon has worked with a variety of industries, which makes our experience vast such that we are able to offer sound advice for all cutting applications.
